A Little Bit About Me
When I was 2.5years old my mother gave birth to twins.
Twin sisters who I fussed over, suffocated, strangled and completely adored!
From that point onwards, my life was that of a little helper, an independant child ,who on being given permission to play "outside" would rather have knocked on the nieghbours doors and asked for a cuppa and a blether.
I cannot imagine being like this although my mother assures me that almost every neighbour in our street had the pleasure (or maybe the misfortune!) of a 4year old chatting freely and asking questions for 20 minutes each day!
I'm guessing this is where my love of people and of chatting began.
My earliest memory of "organising" is of a day in the garden with my friends and neighbours.
We were bored. Roller blading = too hot. Cycling= same.
So I decided that we would have our very own jumble sale , right there in the street.
Every child present, begged their parents for "junk", old clothes, toys, household items.
It was hysterical later on discovering that some of the kids had just grabbed anything and were there selling it on the street!!
We raised the grand sum of £5 4d and sixpence (yes I'm old!!) and handed it over to a local charity under the supervision of my father.
I love to organise and so, over the years I was called upon by friends and family to organise one event or another and excelled myself in making sure that everything was spit spot.
Spit Spot being the catchphrase from the Mary Poppins film which I must have watched about a million times!
So, here I am today doing what I love to do. Organising markets and charity events and thoroughly enjoying the challenge. Meeting people is one of my greatest loves in life, chatting and getting to know everyone and anyone who comes my way.
I hope that if you visit my markets you will enjoy the experience. I just do what I think. I'm a Leo, so I tend to think BIG lol!
Hope that everyone reading can manage along to our markets and enjoy the atmosphere whilst browsing the fabulous stalls. And speaking of stalls, if there were no happy stallholders there would be no market!
Wishing you all a fabulous day!

Good morning!
Where has the sunshine gone?
We're stuck inside in this drizzly rain working hard to promote our next market.
29th July at Erskine Bridge Hotel in Erskine. 12noon till 3pm there are 80 stalls just bursting with lots of lovely products!
Our markets provide a fantastic family day out with loads for the kids including bouncy castle, Hoots Owls, Facepainting , Entertainment and much more!
Entry to the market is free and our cafeteria provides some tasty snacks for when you get the rumbles!
Hope to see many of you there and remember, there is disabled facilities including ramps and WC's. Our market is laid out in such a fashion that there is plenty of room for wheelchairs and prams to move smoothly around the venue.
So, now that I've updated on our next event I'd best get back to work!
See you all soon!

Linda Thomson at Usborne Books has been one of our most regular stallholders since our markets began!
Linda loves to sell and is friendly and chatty to everyone passing by.
Usborne books are some of the most beautifully presented books we have ever seen.
Suitable from birth and with a very wide range of subjects, these books make an ideal gift for little ones.
Here's Linda and her son Cameron at one of our recent markets. Happy and smiling as usual!!
Why not pop by and visit Linda at Usborne at our next market on 29th July at Erskine Bridge Hotel.
We're sure that if nothing else you'll have fun just browsing these gorgeous books!

***Stallholder of the month***
Well now! As we have many dedicated stallholders who attend our markets on a regular basis, we've decided to do a special blog on our chosen Stallholder of the Month. What do you have to do to be featured? We'd love for all of our regulars to talk about US! Yes, that's right, just chat to your facebook friends, blog friends, your family friends and neighbours, workmates, anyone and everyone! Ask them to visit the page and to say who's been telling them about us. We know that many of our regulars already do this so just to keep it fair (we're always fair!) we will do a feature on all of you regardless. How's that? Keep watching, keep talking , keep smiling!
